剧情简介

　　根据作家、艺术家卡洛·利维的自传改编。讲他30年代因为反对法西斯而遭到流放，来到意大利南部一个极其落后的山村，目睹了村民的贫穷和绝望，从而坚定了他的信念。影片非常缓慢而低调，但不乏沉思和内涵，被认为是罗西最好的作品。市面上流传的压缩版约两个小时。
